BASES
· Registration is open for all films with a duration of more than 60 minutes of national and international production (that is, Mexico and any other country in the world), fiction, documentary or animation genre that have at least a first cut of assembly.
· After accepting the invitation to CATAPULTA CINE, the project cannot be withdrawn from the schedule.
· The participants agree to be available between March 14 and 19, 2022 to carry out the activities, in the modality that the convening entities indicate.
· If the conveners request it, the participant agrees to mention their name and include their images and logos, as well as that of the allies that are proposed at the time of the invitation, in all their advertising, press material and in the corresponding credits.
· The decision of the selection committee will be final.
· The registration of a project implies knowledge and acceptance of all the provisions of the bases of this call.
· To participate, interested persons must fill out, in Spanish or English, the registration form available at culturaunam.mx/catapulta
· This call is open from the date of its publication and until 11:59 p.m. on Friday, February 4, 2022. The selection committee is not obliged to evaluate projects submitted after the deadline.
JURY AND AWARD
· The jury is made up of people with a recognized track record, who will choose the award-winning film and their decision will be final.
· The prize for The prize for CATAPULTA FIRST CUT, awarded by UNAM, consists of the amount of $100,000.00 (One hundred thousand pesos 00/100 M.N.) or its equivalent in US dollars for the film., awarded by UNAM, consists of the amount of $100,000.00 (One hundred thousand pesos 00/100 M.N.) or its equivalent in US dollars for the film.
· The prize will be awarded according to the schedule that is issued for this purpose, for which the organizers, through whomever they determine, will contact the owner of the selected film.
· The person who receives the prize will accept the conditions established in this announcement and will sign the corresponding instrument, in which the rights and obligations of those involved are stipulated.
· The representatives of the selected films will receive, when they are invited, a list of institutional commitments that they must fulfill after accepting the selection.
· Cases not provided for in this call or derived from it will be resolved by the Department of Cultural Affairs of the UNAM in accordance with the applicable regulations and the Code of Ethics of the UNAM.
RESULTS
The result of the selection of this category will be communicated through the website culturaunam.mx/catapulta on Friday, March 4, 2022.
