The National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), through the Department of Cultural Affairs, the UNAM International Film Festival (FICUNAM) and CATAPULTA CINE, with the purpose of stimulating and concluding arthouse projects of all genres and styles, far from tradition and close to innovation, coming from all over the world, calls for the participation of people interested in presenting their work under the following guidelines:
DATES
The 4th edition of CATAPULTA CINE will take place from March 14th to 19th, 2022, within the framework of the 12th edition of FICUNAM.
FORMAT
In this 4th edition, there will be two categories: DEVELOPMENT and FIRST CUT. CATAPULTA CINE will be held entirely online.
CATAPULTA DEVELOPMENT will select 10 projects of all genres in the development phase that will hold one-on-one meetings with representatives of the national and international film community.
CATAPULTA FIRST CUT will select 7 feature films of all genres in the post-production phase that will be presented to an audience made up of representatives of the national and international film community.
